For the final photo, I decided to shoot through a prism, which I made from three 6" square mirror pieces and some gaffer tape. (Idea stolen from an article on F-Stoppers). I think it turned out pretty great, but now I need to rig up some way of attaching the thing to my camera because it's awkward and heavy.

Most of the show was a stellar solo acoustic set from Rhett but at the end of the night Black Prairie joined him and blasted out killer renditions of "Broadway" (Old 97s), "California Stars" (Billy Bragg & Wilco) and "Wreck of the Old 97" (Johhny Cash). They clearly enjoyed playing together, and even dropped some hints at a future collaboration, which would be amazing.

I stuck my camera up and snapped a few unremarkable shots, just because. Sorry John Moen, you should get a drum riser or something.
