Pickathon
Friday afternoon I finally went to Pickathon. I've politely listened to countless people rave about it being their most favorite music festival ever, each time politely nodding and thinking yeah right, you were just stoned the whole time. Well, they very possibly were, but I have to say it is a pretty awesome weekend, sober or not. The small-ish crowd, beautiful setting, great music, family-friendly vibe and excellent food definitely sold me. Other than PDX Pop Now! this is probably the only festival I'll be attending in the coming years, hopefully with my family. Because I'm not 20 anymore, and I get tired and cranky just thinking about Sasquatch.
